Cookie Policy
What this website stores in your browser and how you can change your choice.
Last updated: 27 October 2026
mediqly operates mediqly.info. This page sets out which entries the site places on your device, why they are used, what happens when a cookie notice is accepted or rejected, and how an answer can be withdrawn.
1. About cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a short text file that the site you are visiting places in your browser; it lets the site remember a setting or a decision you have made. Browsers provide similar mechanisms, in particular local storage, which keeps small entries until they are removed. This policy treats them in the same way.
2. Which cookies this website uses
mediqly.info is an information site: there is no customer account and no checkout, so only a few entries are needed. The strictly necessary category covers what the pages and the server require to work safely, including any entry that records an answer to a cookie notice, and, under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), it does not depend on consent.
One of these entries is a cookie set by the server that delivers the pages. It holds a random identifier, no name or contact details, and lets the server recognise a browser that comes back, so that one visit is handled as one and automated misuse can be turned away. It is renewed with each visit and expires 30 days after the last one.
3. Advertising, tracking and personal data
We use no advertising cookies, no marketing pixels and no trackers that follow visitors to other websites, and information from your visit is not sold or passed on for advertising. Where it can be related to a person, our privacy policy explains the legal bases, the storage periods and your rights.
4. How your choice is recorded
If a notice is displayed and browser storage is available, it saves nothing but your choice, consent or refusal, in the local storage of the current browser (localStorage) and then stays hidden. On a different browser or device it appears once more, because the value was never stored there, and it returns where storage is blocked.
5. Storage periods
Some cookies last only until the browser is closed; others are kept for a limited time so that a setting is still known on your next visit. The value saved by a cookie notice has no expiry date and stays in the browser until it is deleted there.
6. Changing your choice later
Changing your mind is simple: remove the stored data of this website in your browser settings and reload a page, and the previous answer is replaced by a new one the next time you are asked. Browsers also let you manage cookies for one site or for all of them, usually in their privacy settings.
7. Changes and contact
This policy is amended whenever the technologies used on mediqly.info change or new rules make it necessary, and the current version, with the date of its last revision, is always the one on this page. If anything here is unclear, you can reach us at hello@mediqly.info or by telephone at 01823 442917.
